Jim Wilson, is the founder of Wilson & Associates, L.L.C., located in Wilsonville, OR a suburb of Portland, OR. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance from the University of Washington and a Graduate degree from the University of California.

Prior to founding Wilson & Associates, L.L.C. Jim worked as an independent “turn-around” specials’ in the publishing and media field. In 1997 after having worked with many small and large business owners, Jim recognized that the major issues facing most of them as they neared retirement were concerns about health and longevity.  They were concerned that a personal health situation might wipe out everything they had worked for throughout the years. And many had concerns about out-living their savings.

Consequently, Wilson & Associates, L.L.C. was formed to deal with these exact issues. Since its founding the firm has concentrated on eliminating market risks, minimizing tax liabilities and protecting hard earned assets from the devastating effects of unexpected health and long-term care expenses.

Jim is the father of four wonderful children and a grandfather to what he describes as “The Fabulous Four”. He enjoys kayaking and spending time with his family and friends.
